Monoclilic zirconia powder: The enhanced properties of our nanostructured monoclinic zirconia powder mean that it is ideal for a range of applications across an array of industries.
Its resilience, strength and resistance to high temperatures mean that it is perfect for use in refractories. 3 mol % Yttria-stabilised Zirconia: 3YSZ from Innovnano exhibits the high component strength and durability required for the manufacture of structural ceramics.
Additionally, the use of hot isostatic pressing (HIP) as a final consolidation technique provides Fengye 3YSZ powder with a unique robustness and outstanding mechanical properties that are desirable for physically demanding applications.
Structural ceramics are widely used across a broad range of industries, when a component or coating is required with exceptional wear- and friction-resistance. Some specific uses include: PUMP LININGS, VALVE COMPONENTS, NOZZLES, TANK LININGS OR CERAMIC SLEEVES, CUTTING TOOLS, GRINDING MATERIAL, WELDING PINS.

4 mol % Yttria-stabilised Zirconia: 4YSZ from Fengye is ideally suited to the production of thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) for some of the most advanced and demanding industries: AEROSPACE, AUTOMOTIVE, ENERGY
TBCs provide an essential protective and insulating layer for engineering products and components that operate in extreme environments. They are widely used in turbine engines, acting to: Protect against wear and micro-cracking, Prevent oxidation and corrosion, Minimise thermal degradation, Provide thermal insulation, Extend service intervals , Improve fuel efficiency by allowing higher burn temperatures.
The development and physical application of TBCs is largely driven by technological, economic and societal pressures to increase turbine efficiency by operating them at increasingly higher temperatures. This improves the efficiency of fuel combustion and therefore reduces cost and contributes to a more environmentally-friendly life cycle of turbine engines.
Our highly dense, nanostructured 4YSZ ceramic powder has very low thermal conductivity at high temperatures, making it the ideal material for TBC ceramic topcoats. 

2 mol % Yttria-stabilised Zirconia:2YSZ from Fengye exhibits the high component strength and durability required for the manufacture of structural ceramics. Its outstanding fracture toughness sets it apart from other structural ceramic materials, providing excellent tribological performance, not only for many physically demanding applications but also for cases that require cyclic load resistance.
Fengye 2YSZ exhibits outstanding performance in cyclic fatigue tests due to its ability to absorb energy. A characteristic that is only possible with our high values of fracture toughness that approach the typical range of metals and alloys. The result is an increased lifetime for ceramic components, for example, those used in rotary machinery.
2YSZ offers a high fracture toughness alternative to conventional micron-sized 3YSZ engineered ceramic applications. It can be used as the zirconia phase in both ZTA and ATZ.
